Refund, Returns & Cancellation Policy

Introduction

At Mike Lawrence Health & Wellbeing, clarity and fairness are essential. This policy explains how refunds, cancellations, rescheduling and returns are handled for physical books, digital downloads, consultancy sessions, wellbeing appointments, workshops and MHFA England training.

1. Physical Books & Printed Materials

Physical items may be returned within 14 days of delivery if they are unused and in their original condition.

Return postage is the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty.

If an item arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact me within 48 hours so I can put it right quickly.

Refunds are processed within 7–10 working days once the item has been received back.

2. Digital Products (Downloads, Audio Guides, PDFs, Toolkits)

Digital products are delivered instantly.
Refunds cannot be offered once the file has been accessed, downloaded or opened, in line with UK consumer law.

If you experience a technical issue or feel the product isn’t as described, please contact me within 7 days and I will do my best to assist.

3. Online Courses, Webinars & Workshops (Non-MHFA)

You may cancel within 14 days of purchase, provided the course has not started and materials have not been accessed.

Once the course has begun or digital content has been accessed, refunds cannot be provided.

Transfers to another date may be available, depending on availability.

4. MHFA England Training Courses

Due to limited availability and MHFA England requirements, the following terms apply:

Cancellations:

  • 21+ days before the course: Full refund or free transfer
  • 14–20 days before: 50% refund or paid transfer
  • Less than 14 days: No refund (place may be transferred to another named person)
  • Non-attendance: Non-refundable

If a course is postponed by me or MHFA England, you will be offered a transfer or full refund.

5. Consultancy, Coaching & 1:1 Wellbeing Sessions

Rescheduling

Appointments may be rescheduled with 48 hours’ notice.
Requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice are treated as a late cancellation and the full session fee is payable.

Cancellations

  • 48+ hours’ notice: No charge
  • Less than 48 hours: Full fee payable
  • No-shows: Full fee payable
  • Completed sessions cannot be refunded

For multi-session programmes, unused sessions must be taken within 6 months of purchase unless otherwise agreed.

6. Fairness and Discretion

I recognise that life sometimes presents unexpected challenges.
Where possible, I will take a fair and compassionate approach while maintaining professional boundaries and protecting my diary.

7. How to Request a Refund, Return or Change

Include:

  • Your name
  • Order number
  • Product or service purchased
  • Reason for your request

I aim to respond within 48 hours (Mon–Fri).

8. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
