Work With Mike Lawrence
Private programmes, personalised support, and structured wellbeing pathways — available online and in person.
Most people don’t wake up thinking,
“I need therapy.”
They wake up thinking:
• Why can’t I cope like I used to?
• I’m exhausted, tense, and constantly switched on.
• Working from home isn’t helping — I feel isolated and overwhelmed.
• My body hurts, my head won’t switch off, and I’m not myself anymore.
So they search late at night:
how to cope with stress
burnout symptoms
work from home stress
constant anxiety but functioning
why am I always tired and tense
Some try quick fixes, self-help videos, or AI tools —
hoping something will finally take the edge off.
Workplace Wellbeing, Stress & Burnout Support — Online and In Person
When life feels relentless — work pressure, constant uncertainty, rising costs, remote fatigue —
most people don’t think, “I need therapy.”
They think:
“Why can’t I cope like I used to?”
“I’m exhausted, tense, and always switched on.”
“Working from home isn’t helping — I feel isolated and overwhelmed.”
This is what overload looks like.
Overload rarely announces itself clearly.
It shows up as:
• Ongoing stress, anxiety, or low mood
• Difficulty switching off or sleeping
• Feeling emotionally flat, irritable, or overwhelmed
• Loss of confidence, motivation, or focus
• Physical tension, pain, or fatigue
• Quiet withdrawal from work, people, or purpose
With rising uncertainty, cost-of-living pressure, remote and hybrid working,
more people are carrying this silently — even high-functioning, capable people.
This isn’t weakness.
It’s the nervous system under sustained demand.
A Different Approach to Wellbeing
This work isn’t about coping better with broken systems.
And it’s not about quick fixes, surface-level wellbeing, or pushing through at any cost.
It supports one clear journey:
moving from overload to choice.
When capacity is restored — physically, emotionally, and psychologically —
something shifts.
Decisions feel easier.
Boundaries become possible.
Life feels more navigable again — not because pressure disappears,
but because you’re no longer carrying it alone.
The 3-Step System Behind All Programmes
All support follows the same structured approach, adapted to your needs
and delivered online or in person.
Programme Pathways
All pathways follow the same 3-Step System:
Identify → Rediscover → Reclaim
3-Month Programme
Focused reset
Ideal if you’re facing a specific challenge or high-pressure season — stress, uncertainty, work-from-home strain, sleep disruption, or emotional overload.
- Fast clarity on what’s driving the pressure
- Nervous system regulation tools you can use daily
- Practical changes that reduce “always on” living
Best for stabilising, resetting, and regaining control.
6-Month Programme
Deeper change
Designed for longer-standing patterns — burnout, anxiety, low mood, chronic tension or pain, confidence dips, or repeated relapse into survival mode.
- Break recurring loops (stress → crash → recover → repeat)
- Rebuild capacity, boundaries, and emotional steadiness
- Support that holds you through real life, not theory
For people who know something deeper needs to shift.
12-Month Programme
Sustained transformation
For integration and long-term resilience — when you want a full reset of how you work, live, relate, and lead under pressure.
- Deep integration and lasting behaviour change
- Strengthen identity, purpose, and self-trust
- Build a life that doesn’t require constant recovery
For sustained change that sticks.
All pathways follow the same 3-Step System:
Identify → Rediscover → Reclaim.
Next step: a confidential conversation — not a commitment.
“Most people begin with the pathways above.”
Private Accelerated Programme (by invitation or suitability)
For people who are ready to move decisively — not incrementally.
This is an intensive, high-touch pathway for people who know they don’t want to spend the next year “working up to change”.
It’s designed for individuals who are ready to address long-standing patterns quickly, with consistent support, accountability, and a blend of psychological, nervous-system, and body-based work.
This programme is not suitable for everyone — and that’s intentional.
Intensive 1-to-1 confidence and identity-focused sessions
Personalised 12-week wellbeing framework to stabilise and reset patterns
Ongoing direct support (email + private WhatsApp access)
Integrated mind–body sessions to release pressure, pain, and stored stress
Structured accountability to maintain momentum and follow-through
Support that blends evidence-based psychology with Eastern and Western therapeutic approaches
This pathway is for people who are done circling the problem — and ready to change how they live, work, and lead.
Private Accelerated Programme (Fast-Track)
For people ready to move faster — with depth, focus, and accountability.
This is for people who already know something needs to change — and don’t want to spend years circling the same patterns.
The Private Accelerated Programme is a high-commitment, high-support pathway for individuals who want faster, deeper results and are ready to take responsibility for meaningful change.
This work is intentionally selective.
It’s designed for people who:
• Feel stuck in cycles of stress, burnout, or emotional overload
• Are high-functioning but disconnected, exhausted, or out of alignment
• Want focused, personalised support — not surface-level wellbeing
• Are ready to prioritise their health, clarity, and direction
Support is delivered through a blend of:
• 1-to-1 sessions (online or in person)
• Practical between-session tools and reflection
• Ongoing guidance and accountability
• A calm, grounded space to stabilise, reset, and rebuild capacity
This isn’t about doing more.
It’s about removing what’s draining you — and rebuilding from a steadier place.
Places are limited, and this pathway is offered by invitation following a conversation.
Availability is limited by design.
A grounded, human approach — shaped by real experience
I’m Mike Lawrence — a workplace wellbeing consultant, trainer, and practitioner with over 20 years’ experience supporting individuals, leaders, and organisations under pressure.
My work sits at the intersection of mental health, performance, and lived experience — blending evidence-based psychology with emotional intelligence and practical, real-world tools.
I’ve worked with organisations across healthcare, education, finance, local government, the arts, and elite performance — including NHS trusts, national charities, corporate teams, and leaders navigating complex change.
What sets this work apart isn’t theory or motivation.
It’s an understanding of how stress, uncertainty, trauma, and pressure actually show up — in the body, the nervous system, decision-making, and everyday behaviour.
This approach has been shaped not only by professional training, but by personal experience — including recovery from major brain surgery and years of working at the sharp end of pressure, responsibility, and expectation.
The focus is always the same:
helping people restore capacity, regain clarity, and respond to life and work with choice — not survival mode.
This work is calm, confidential, and tailored — whether support is delivered online or in person.
This work is shaped by over two decades of experience supporting people through pressure, trauma, change, and recovery — in workplaces, communities, and private practice.
I’ve worked with individuals and organisations across healthcare, education, public services, corporate environments, and elite performance settings — including NHS trusts, universities, charities, and senior leadership teams.
What matters most, though, isn’t titles or frameworks.
It’s understanding how stress actually shows up in real people’s lives — in the body, the nervous system, relationships, confidence, and decision-making — and knowing how to support change without pushing, fixing, or overwhelming.
This approach blends evidence-based psychology, nervous-system regulation, emotional intelligence, and practical tools that people can actually use — whether support is delivered online or in person.
What this work looks like in practice
From confidential 1-to-1 work to workshops, training, and body-based support — delivered online and in person.

What People Say After Working Together
Across organisations, leaders, and individuals navigating pressure, change, and recovery.
From business leaders, organisations, and individuals under pressure.
You don’t have to carry this alone.
Whether you’re feeling stretched, stuck, burnt out, or simply know something needs
to change, the first step is a conversation — not a commitment.
We’ll take a calm look at what’s going on, what support might help, and whether
working together feels like the right fit.
No pressure. No obligation. Just a grounded conversation about what you need next.
