This policy applies to Mike Google Drive Backup, operated by Mike Lawrence.
Information accessed: Google Drive file contents and metadata, including filenames, folder structure and modification dates, solely to create and maintain backup copies.
Storage: Backup files are stored on Mike’s encrypted external drive. Google authorisation tokens are stored locally in rclone’s configuration on the iMac. Operational logs may contain filenames and error details.
Use and sharing: Data is used solely for backup and recovery. The tool does not sell data, use it for advertising, or provide it to AI models.
Retention and control: Backup copies remain until Mike deletes them. Deleting a cloud file does not automatically delete its backup. Access can be revoked through Google Account permissions; revocation does not remove existing local copies.
